Project closure review meeting in San Antonio, TX, U.S.A. of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) CHIO Innovation Project “Enhanced Clinical Decision Support for CPRS” (Innovation ID #209). This project aimed at the development of clinical reminder and patient report card applications within the above framework and was successfully completed. The VISTA medical information system of the VHA was accessed through Meadows (MDWS) by the Gello expression language and an Arden-Syntax-based server received the extracted data, processed them, and displayed the reminder and patient report card results. At this meeting, the gained results and the smooth cooperation between the VHA CHIO project leader and participants, Hewlett Packard (HP), Medexter Healthcare, and Medical Objects was emphasized.
