Momo is a microbiology analytics and clinical tool for reporting pathogens and antimicrobial resistances
FAST CLINICAL TOOL
Be aware of all pathogens and resistances present in your ward. Have immediate overview of all results for one patient or department. Create and share weekly reports.
EMR & LABORATORY INTEGRATION
Doctors can access patient or department overviews with just one click. Laboratories can include Momo‘s graphics and analyses in their outgoing reports.
INFECTION CONTROL
Access a patient’s or a department’s recent resistance history. Monitor trends and avoid epidemics in your hospital.
AMR SITUATION & HISTORY
View a pathogen’s AMR pattern and the change of resistance over time. Compare the effectiveness of several antimicrobial agents.
REPORTS & BENCHMARKING
Create mandatory AMR reports or use Momo in medical research projects. Images and .csv files can be exported to programs like Excel for your specific purposes.
LAB RESULTS
Momo can work with bacteria and fungi including AMR profiles, PCR results, serology results, toxins, microscopy results, miscellaneous remarks, and many more.
How it works
Momo gives clinicians a real-time, one-click overview of pathogens and antimicrobial resistances for individual patients or wards. Momo OneClick can be launched directly from the user interface of hospital, intensive care, and laboratory information systems with the click of a button.
Momo Advanced adds powerful microbiology and virology analytics with more than 50 query parameters for clinical, QM, epidemiological, and research use cases.
Momo consolidates microbiological and virological data from laboratory and hospital information systems into one structured overview — including sample material, test results, resistances, and incoming as well as outgoing comments. All data is automatically imported, organized, and integrated.
Key Benefits
- No Manual Data Input
- All Pathogens & AMR
- Patient and Ward View
- Fully Automated
- Graphical Display
- Custom Queries & Reports
- Saves Time & Costs
Access Momo OneClick from your EHR's user interface
Single patient or ward overview with just one click
Momo OneClick
Given a particular patient or ward, Momo OneClick immediately retrieves all microbiological data from this patient or ward and presents it in a dense, yet clear and attractive graphical form.
Momo OneClick can easily be accessed from inside medical information systems such as electronic health record (EHR) systems, intensive care and laboratory information systems (IS), medical practice software systems, and others.
User-friendly analytics and reporting tool
Use Momo Advanced for microbiology & virology analytics, mandatory or custom reports, and benchmarking.
Momo Advanced
Use the Momo database filled with microbiological, virological, and – possibly – further clinical data to support clinical, epidemiological, research, and QM use cases. Highly customizable queries with more than 50 query parameters enable flexible analyses for ward and hospital hygiene, clinical research, administration, cost reduction, quality assurance, and more.
Momo supports monitoring pathogen occurrence across hospital units, especially multidrug-resistant organisms, tracking test orders, and analyzing both the current antimicrobial resistance situation and resistance trends for patients or wards over time. Flexible charts allow comparison of multiple antibiotic agents. Charts and reports can be easily exported.
Alert-worthy single findings or combinations of findings, clinical interpretations, or reccommendations can be generated by connecting with our ArdenSuite CDS Factory.
Details
FHIR
The latest version of Momo adopts FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) as its internal data structure. This HL7 industry standard enhances interoperability, making Momo easily integrable into diverse healthcare IT environments.
Ontologies
Momo’s ontology is automatically populated with microbiological and virological findings, sample material, antibiotics/antimycotics, and departments. Manual editing and heterarchical structures support complex queries, alerts, and monitoring of microorganisms, and – possibly – further clinical data.
Reporting
Use Momo’s reporting feature for mandatory AMR reports, internal and QM reports to your hospital‘s administration, or in medical research projects. Images and .csv files can be exported to Excel or similar programs, allowing you to create diagrams and statistics for your specific purposes. Once configured, save frequently used queries as templates for quick retrieval.
Benchmarking
You want to participate in national (e.g., the yearly official Austrian Resistance Report AURES) or international (e.g., The European Surveillance System EARS-Net) benchmarking networks? Discuss with us the regular, time- and cost-saving electronic data export to the requesting national reference centers and to ECDC, Stockholm.
